Duncan took to the stage at an early age, ambitious to make a splash in the arts. His first appearance in front of an audience was as at the age of 4 as a young prince in a local St. Louis high school production of *The King and I*. In high school he was not only a prominent member of his own school’s drama department, but an elected national student representative for the International Thespian Society. He then traveled west to earn a BFA in Screen Acting from Chapman University, where he appeared in numerous short films and on stage in *Dog Sees God*, as the leading blockhead CB. After graduating, Duncan recognized a longing to not only perform but craft stories, and so honed his writing and directing chops to create *Inner Voices*, Schmudio’s debut production.
Duncan currently lives in Los Angeles and works as a Teaching Associate for kindergarteners while continuing to develop side projects and establish Schmudio's Production and Education departments.

Film has always been about testing the limits. With ingenuity and humility, artists and craftsmen band together to explore possibilities, and bring them to life. Schmudio is no different.
Through our productions, through our stories, and through our business model we strive to promote the evolution of film as an art form.
